As a postpartum doula and chef, I take entering the sacred space of your recovery, your home, and your kitchen very seriously. I work with deep intentionality, creating a warm and safe environment for you to be your real self, and hold space for you as you navigate large and sometimes uncomfortable emotions. Whether you have just given birth, adopted, or experienced loss, I am honored to gently guide you towards your intuition and facilitate healing. Below are some of the ways I nourish the birthing person during a home visit.

Phone, and email communication with me, your doula, Monday - Saturday from 8am-6pm should you have any questions or need to chat

Nourishing meals cooked in your home, including snacks, and beverages, and a weekly grocery list

The use of food as medicine, and meals in bed

Help building “your village”

Instruction in basic baby care, and breast or bottle feeding. Being available to hold your baby so that you can rest, shower, and care for yourself.

Birth story processing

Emotional and mental support during recovery from birth. This often looks like a long chat, a hug and a good cry.

Sleep support and solutions for you and baby

Grocery shopping done weekly and delivered to your home

Folding laundry, running the vacuum, doing the dishes and anything else around the house that will bring peace

Bodywork, including massage for you and your baby, as well as herbal baths, and treatments

Vaginal steaming

Access to a personally curated contact list of local, trusted postpartum professionals in fields such as massage, therapy, and lactation

House visits last anywhere from 3 to 6 hours depending on your needs.
